FLOT Jr. is a summer project brought to you by the Fairbanks Light Opera Theatre. Three week-long, age-specific fine arts summer camp sessions will teach the basics of musical theater: acting, singing, dancing, costumes and makeup application, set construction, stage props and painting scenery.

 

Camp sessions run Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 4:30 PM and culminates on Friday evening at 6:00 pm with a production of what the kids have rehearsed during that week. Before care is available from 7:30am-9:00am. After care is available from 4:30pm-5:00pm.

 

REGISTRATION:

Next registration will begin Spring 2011 and space is limited. Registration form and payment will be available online. (Registration will be taken in the order in which payment is received.)

 

AUDITIONS:

Placement auditions for each session are held at 1 PM the Sunday before camp begins.

    

LOCATION:

Camp has been held in the beautiful Dance Theatre Fairbanks’ Firehouse Studios, located downtown at 656 7th Avenue in the old City Fire Station.
