FLOT Jr. is a summer project brought to you by the Fairbanks Light Opera Theatre. Three week-long, age-specific fine arts summer camp sessions will teach the basics of musical theater: acting, singing, dancing, costumes and makeup application, set construction, stage props and painting scenery.

 

Camp sessions run Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 4:30 PM and culminates on Friday evening at 6:00 pm with a production of what the kids have rehearsed during that week. Before care is available from 7:30am-9:00am. After care is available from 4:30pm-5:00pm. Registration is on a "first come - first served" basis.  Each Session is limited to 30 students.

 

AUDITIONS:

Placement auditions for each session are held at 1 PM the Sunday before camp begins.

    

LOCATION:

Camp has been held in the beautiful Dance Theatre Fairbanks’ Firehouse Studios, located downtown at 656 7th Avenue in the old City Fire Station.
