FLOT Jr. is a summer project brought to you by the Fairbanks Light Opera Theatre. Three week-long, age-specific fine arts summer camp sessions will teach the basics of musical theater: acting, singing, dancing, costumes and makeup application, set construction, stage props and painting scenery. Each camp session will run Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 4:30 PM and culminates on Friday evening at 6:00 pm with a production of what the kids have rehearsed during that week.

 

AUDITIONS:

Placement auditions for each session are held in the week before camp begins.

 

LOCATION:

Camp was held in 2009 and 2009 in the beautiful Dance Theatre Fairbanks’ Firehouse Studios, located downtown at 656 7th Avenue in the old City Fire Station.
